Do Something Good Today.

My mom forwarded an email from my younger brother today, which I think everyone should know about. How often do you see someone who needs something, shake your head and say, “That poor guy,” and go on your way? We all do that– it becomes kind of a cycle of inaction, I think. We forget that the only thing stopping us from doing something, is ourselves. Well, a colleague of my brother met someone who needed help, and he chose to take action. If you take a look at, you will see the entire story, and find out how you might be able to help.

I honestly have no idea how many people read this blog– it could well be just me and my mom. But aside from donating myself (which I’ve already done), this is the biggest contribution I can make to helping Troy McCullough. Please, take a look at this website. Sometimes we get the chance to take part in something that makes the world a better place. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if New Lenox could show the world what a generous, giving community we are? Let’s see what we can do together, to make a change for the better.
